Posing with two fingers up to the camera, this is Europe's first female suicide bomber whose head flew through a window and landed on the street outside when she blew herself up during the siege of Saint-Denis. Hasna Aitboulahcen screamed 'help me, help me!' just moments before detonating her suicide vest packed full of explosives as French anti-terror police moved in.
Now friends have revealed how Moroccan-born Aitboulahcen, 26, was an 'extrovert' who drank alcohol and was nicknamed 'the cowgirl' due to her love of wearing big cowboy hats.
Aitboulahcen's parents are said to be separated. Her friends said she lived in Paris with her mother and spent two to four weeks at a time in Creutzwald, Moselle, to see her father. Neighbours said she had a memorable bubbly personality, adding that she was 'outgoing, a bit clueless'.
They said: 'She did not look like a suicide bomber and she drank alcohol.'
Her family arrived in France in 1973 and settled in Paris, where she was born in 1989 in Clichy-la-Garenne. It emerged yesterday that a blonde suicide bomber, believed to be Aitboulahcen, yelled 'Help me, help me!' before she blew herself up during a police and special forces raid on Abaaoud's suspected hideout in Saint Denis.
The blonde haired woman was said to be the cousin of Abaaoud, the alleged ISIS mastermind of the bloodbath in Paris on Friday in which 132 died.
As police special forces accompanied by soldiers moved towards a flat in Saint-Denis, she appeared at a window shortly after 6am.
It is believed that Abaaoud was also killed in the raid yesterday morning, however French authorities have yet to confirm the death. (Dailymail)
