TRANSFER RUMOUR - Arsenal to Storm January Transfer Market as Wenger Set to Sign Three Stars

Arsenal's recent injuries have killed their impressive fine form to the season and led to an awful run of form in November, with the likes of Sanchez, Carzola and Coquelin injured, Gunners are in serious need of more depth in their struggling squad. Midfielders seem to be a priority for Arsene Wenger, with three big names linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium in today’s gossip.

Arsenal could make a shock raid on their rivals Manchester City for the transfer of Spanish winger Jesus Navas. According to reports, the Gunners are making Navas one of their top targets to replace the injured Alexis Sanchez out wide. Although it seems unlikely that City will sell to a fellow title challenger, the 30-year-old may feel a move would be good for his chances of playing more and making Spain’s Euro 2016 squad.

In another possible swoop for a Spanish midfielder, Arsenal are also after Real Madrid playmaker Isco, who is available for £35million. It is claimed that the Gunners would be willing to meet that asking price to bring the unsettled star to north London this January.

Isco, 23, is also keen on leaving the Bernabeu due to limited playing time, with Manchester City also monitoring his situation.

Also, Arsenal are considering a move for £10million-rated Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur as yet another option to fill that problem position. The Scotland international is not the big name most fans will be craving, but has been a solid performer for the Eagles this season.

Arsenal have supposedly had scouts watch McArthur in recent times, with Wenger getting back glowing reviews of the 28-year-old.
