The woman filed for divorce claiming her spouse had been unfaithful when she refused to have a makeover to look like the reality TV star.
She said: "I refused to go to the beauty salon because I have a two-year-old son and I am looking after him ... He wanted me to be like Kim Kardashian or [Lebanese singer] Haifa Wehbe but I told him I will not be like these artificial dummies."
The man confessed he had asked his wife to visit the salon but insisted it was because he wanted her to spoil herself rather than emulate the 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' beauty.
Speaking during legal proceedings in Cairo, Egypt, he's reported by Emirates 24/7 as saying: "She has never been to the hairdresser. I just wanted to see her doing something for herself."
