Boxer Amir Khan visits Peshawar school to pay respects

British boxer Amir Khan, who is of Pakistani heritage, lands in Pakistan to show his support to the victims of the Peshawar school shooting massacr.

British world champion boxer Amir Khan has arrived in Pakistan to help the victims of the army school attack in Peshawar.

The 28-year-old fighter from Bolton, whose parents were born in Pakistan, came to pay his respects after donating a pair of shorts worth £30,000. The money raised is to help pay for the school to be rebuilt.

On 16 December, Pakistani Taliban militants killed 141 people - 132 of them children.

Khan said: "My deepest condolences go out to all the affected families and I wish to express my full support for Pakistan and the people of Pakistan."
