Few days to the general election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, has distributed food items and money to PDP supporters in Bauchi State.
Mu’azu while presenting the items yesterday in Bauchi said the package was meant to appreciate the people of the state for their support to the PDP and urged them to vote for PDP candidates in the forthcoming general election for the development of the country.
The chairman, who was represented by his aide, Auwal Ibrahim Bununu explained that the rice, salt, wrappers and cash will be distributed to all wards in Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro local government areas.
He said the gesture was part of his routine assistance and it will help his supporters to alleviate their sufferings.
Receiving the items separately on behalf of the people, PDP secretary Bogoro local government, Daniel K. Musa, and PRO, PDP in Dass local government area.
Yakubu Abdulkadir and Alhaji Aminu Hassan representative of PDP in
Tafawa Balewa thanked the national chairman for the gesture and pledged to continue to support PDP by ensuring that they vote for PDP candidates in the forth coming general election.
They separately recalled the achievements recorded by the national chairman through the provision of social amenities like electricity, water, education and agriculture when he was the governor of the state. (Leadership)
