Friends Find 13ft SHARK During Their Stroll Along the Beach

The pregnant female was found dead in shallow water near Megara, Greece, after becoming disorientated and beached while trying to rip fish hooks from its mouth. Two beachcombers got the shock of their lives when they came across this blue shark lying dead in the surf.
The 13ft pregnant female, found by the pals as they walked along a beach near Megara, Greece, is believed to have become disorientated and beached while trying to rip fish hooks from its mouth.

The blue is the most heavily fished shark, with millions caught each year.

They can be seen most summers off the coast of Cornwall as part of their trans-Atlantic migration, riding the oceanic currents, and are noted for litters of more than 100 pups which are born live.

But humans have nothing to fear. They are said to be shy and nervous around people.

Only 13 attacks on humans – four fatal – have ever been reported.
