Re-run Election - Massive Turn Out in Taraba

There was massive turn out of voters for the suplimentry governorship election across the 10 local government areas of Taraba state.

Election results in these 10 local government areas were cancelled in the last April 11th governorship election due to widespread irregularities according to the Idependence National Electorial Commission INEC.

Accreditation, Saturday, within the affected local government areas commenced at 8am as voters were anxiously waiting for the INEC officials.

Also the heavy presence of Army, Police Civil Defense and other security agents could be seen all over the affected 218 voting points.

The governorship candidate of PDP Darius Ishaku was accredited at Kofan Serki Sabo in Takum local government area. (Vanguard)
