Manchester City Target Kelving De Bruyne Is Going Nowhere - Wolfsburg

The former Chelsea midfielder has caught the attention of Manuel Pellegrini's side as well as Bayern Munich but his current club are confident that he will stay put. Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking does not fear losing Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne to Bayern Munich or anyone else at the end of the season.

The Belgium international has been in sublime form in 2014-15, scoring 10 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances, while creating 17 more.

The midfielder's agent has confirmed that City are among the clubs to have got in touch about his availability this summer, with Bayern also reportedly keen, but Hecking expects the youngster to turn down any suitors in order to "continue his development" at Wolfsburg.

"Bayern can make an approach for De Bruyne if they want," Hecking told Bild.

"But Kevin has the peace he needs to mature and continue his development here at Wolfsburg.

"I think that he realises it will be good for him to play Champions League football with Wolfsburg and to show that he can also deliver the goods at this level."

De Bruyne has a contract with Wolfsburg, who currently sit second in the Bundesliga, until June 2019. (Goal)
