Manchester United are Desperate to Signe Wonderkid, Ethan Ampadu

Premiership giant Manchester United are reportedly desperate to lure Exeter City wonderkid Ethan Ampadu to to old trafford. The Red Devils are well known with beautiful history of giving chances to young players and they are hoping their track record could convince Ethan Ampadu to reject offers from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Ampadu, 16, is the son of former Republic of Ireland midfielder Kwame Ampadu and the 45-year-old currently works for Arsenal’s academy.

Ampadu Jr is presently considered as one of the brightest talents in Britain and the Red Devils are clearly worried his father’s ties with the Gunners will see him move to the Emirates.

Exeter City Academy starlet Ethan Ampadu has just returned from a two-match tour of Poland, where he captained the Wales Under-15 side.

The highly-rated midfielder, who is said to be attracting interest from a host of top Premier League clubs, wore the armband for both of Wales’ clashes against the Poles, with the first ending in a 2-2 draw.

However, according to the Wales Online, United hope that their track record with young players will help persuade Ampadu that a move to Old Trafford will be beneficial for his career.

Louis van Gaal has given opportunities to a host of young players this season and academy products such as Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are often picked above big-name stars.
