The Serie A side have made no secret of their interest in signing the 32-year-old and are edging closer to a deal with Manchester City while PSG's Thiago Motta is also a target. Inter are in "final discussions" with Manchester City star Yaya Toure, according to vice-president Javier Zanetti. The Ivorian's agent confirmed earlier this month that Toure was "90 per cent certain" to leave the Eithad Stadium as part of a player firesale that could be worth up to £100 million as City look to overhaul their ageing squad. Inter have publicly expressed an interest in signing Toure with manager Roberto Mancini claiming the midfielder is "like a son to me" and owner Erick Thohir claimed he would do "everything" to complete the deal.
In an interview with Tuttosport, Zanetti said: "Yaya Toure? I hope we're entering the final discussions with him."
Zanetti was also asked about luring Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Motta to San Siro, adding: "He has quality and personality. With those two players we would complete our midfield."
Toure has scored 51 goals and registered 25 assists in the Premier League for City since joining from Barcelona in 2010. (Goal)
