LNG Donates Ambulance To FRSC

The Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) company on Wednesday donated an ambulance to the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Lagos Command, to boost its response at crash sites.

Mr Charles Okon, the manager, government-relations, LNG, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the gesture was informed by the management’s desire to help in reducing the number of road accident related deaths.

Okon said: “Our parley with the FRSC will go a long way to affect the lives of Nigerians on the roads.’’

Mr Godwin Ogagaoghene, the Zonal Commanding Officer, FRSC, expressed the commission’s appreciation to the LNG management.

He added that “many lives had been lost in the past due to the unavailability of ambulances to convey victims to hospitals for instant medical assistance.

“So, we welcome this gesture, most especially, because this is our first ambulance in this command.

“It will indeed boost our operations, and we urge other corporate bodies to emulate this gesture,” Okon said.

NAN reports that the ambulance is equipped with two oxygen cylinders and a stretcher. (NAN)
