Manny Pacquiao Set to Fight Amir Khan in Las Vegas on April 9 as Manny Steps Out for His Last Career Fight

Khan's father Shah has revealed his son has agreed terms for a showdown and confirmation has been sent to Pacquiao's promoter. Bob Aru. Amir Khan has agreed a deal to fight Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas in April.

The British has been seeking a big-money showdown in the States since the plug was pulled on a proposed bout with Floyd Mayweather. He had turned his attentions to Pacquiao , who plans to have one more right before hanging up his gloves.

And Khan's father Shah has revealed his son has agreed terms for a showdown on April 9, with confirmation sent by his lawyers to Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum. "Our paperwork went off to Arum on Friday and every point is covered," he said.

"The location is definitely the US. The date in April may vary by a week or so but April is the month."

Khan Snr. did reveal they have a plan B in place after the controversy surrounding a proposed bout with Mayweather.

'We have been here before, with Mayweather so While we are confident the contract will be back with us in the next few days we are holding the second Saturday in January as a fall back date for an alternative fight," he said.

Khan and Pacquiao were sparring partners when they were working with trainer Freddie Roach in the Wild Card gym. The Brit hasn't taken to the ring since beating Chris Algieri in May but is due to return to Bolton next month to work with his team.
