Leadership reports that nineteen ships laden with foods, petroleum products and other goods are waiting to berth at Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Wednesday.
The NPA said the ships sailed in with fresh fish, bulk rice, bulk fertiliser, containers, petrol, base oil, crude palm oil and diesel.
In addition, it announced that 52 other ships were expected to sail into the ports from Jan. 7 to Feb. 14, up from 42 ships expected on Tuesday. The expected ships contained fresh fish, general cargo, containers, bulk malt, base oil, vehicles, bulk sugar, bulk rice and petroleum products.
